Hello there! I'm Melissa, a technical animator who specializes in texturing, look development, and modeling. With a BFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I am experienced in texturing assets and characters for a range of CG styles.
I have worked on films such as Lost Track and Breathe, creating characters, props, and environment assets. Working with my team to minimize pipeline issues and expedite workflows, I have developed strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Through careful research and focus on storytelling, I always strive to realize a film's visual style whether it be stylized, realistic, or something new entirely.

One of my favorite aspects of working as a technical artist is the never-ending stream of knowledge. There is always a new skill, technique, or trick to be learned, and I will always be ready to learn it. Ready to take on any challenge, I am always eager to find new solutions and helps others find them as well.

When I'm not texturing, you can usually find me out on a hike or getting lost in a book (my current favorite being Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson). Much of my inspiration comes from nature and the fantasy novels I grew up reading. I believe stories are one of the most important parts of being human, and I love being able to bring visual stories to life through my work as a technical artist.
